Tom Godwin will lead Continental’s UK and Ireland sales for earthmover, MPT and military tyres.

Continental has appointed Tom Godwin as National Sales Manager for Earthmover, MPT and Military tyres across the UK and Ireland. The move places Godwin in charge of national sales planning and customer development across several specialist tyre segments where product knowledge, application support and long-term relationships are central to growth.

A shift from agricultural tyres

Godwin moves into the role after working within Continental’s UK and Ireland agricultural tyres business. That background gives him experience in off-highway applications where load, durability, terrain and service requirements shape buying decisions.

His new brief covers the earthmover, MPT and military portfolios. Continental said he will define and execute the national sales strategy, strengthen customer partnerships and support growth across those specialist sectors.





For tyre dealers, fleet operators and equipment users, the appointment matters because these segments are highly application-led. Earthmover and MPT tyres are rarely simple replacement purchases. Customers often need technical support around duty cycles, surface conditions, machine type and total operating cost.

Specialty tyres gain strategic weight
