Falken Tyre Europe GmbH has announced a key leadership change effective January 2025. Thomas Langer will step into the role of Sales Director Germany Replacement, succeeding Jürgen Koch, who will transition to a new role as Consultant Sales Germany for the year.

Thomas Langer, who has been with Falken since 2010, brings over 25 years of tyre industry experience to his new position. Starting as a sales representative for Bavaria and Saxony/Thuringia, he rose to the role of Regional Sales Manager for Southern Germany in 2018. His extensive knowledge of sales management, customer relationship building, and market analysis positions him perfectly to take on this critical role.
Over the past year, Langer and outgoing Sales Director Jürgen Koch have worked closely to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities. Their collaboration underscores Falken’s commitment to maintaining continuity and excellence in its sales operations.
Jürgen Koch’s Continued Contribution
While stepping down from his position as Sales Director, Jürgen Koch will remain with Falken in an advisory capacity as Consultant Sales Germany throughout 2025. This transition allows Falken to benefit from Koch’s wealth of experience and maintain the strength of its sales strategy.
Focus on Growth and Customer Relationships
In his new role, Langer will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales process to meet Falken’s ambitious growth and sales targets. This includes managing the sales team, nurturing key customer relationships, and driving the brand’s market position. Reporting directly to Managing Director Markus Bögner, Langer will play a vital role in shaping Falken’s future.
