Job Summary

AIMS Institutes invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor – Computer Science. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, mentoring learners, contributing to research, and supporting departmental academic initiatives. Candidates must possess M.Sc. in Computer Science and have NET / SLET completed.

Key Responsibilities Academic Responsibilities

Teach Computer Science subjects for UG/PG programs as per university curriculum.
Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and practical training.
Prepare lesson plans, course files,



teaching materials, and assessments.
Use creative and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.

Student Development

Mentor students academically and professionally.
Guide students in mini projects, major projects, seminars, and technical presentations.
Support placement readiness through skill enhancement initiatives.

Research & Development

Participate in research activities, paper publications, FDPs, workshops, and conferences.
Contribute to curriculum development and academic quality initiatives.
Encourage students to participate in hackathons, coding events, and innovation programs.

Administrative Responsibilities

Participate in departmental meetings, timetable planning, and institutional committees.
Support NAAC/NBA accreditation processes and documentation.
Assist in organizing seminars, guest lectures, and academic events.
