Job Purpose
Responsible for India Purchasing results encompassing AG & CE Plants,
Parts and WMF working with different people responsible and multiple time zones.Key Activities include Monthly Closure, Budgeting and Forecasting, Vendor Tooling Management and Control, SG&A; ControlEnsure adherence to SOX compliances for Capex and Standard Cost etc. Supplier evaluations and Supplier Risk Management. Responsible for supporting Statutory and Tax Audit and closure of Internal Audit Observations.Price change approvals in accordance with market trends/ indexation agreements and other factors like freight, energy etc. Active participation in cost reduction initiatives. Tracking, controlling, and accurate reporting of SSP and resourcing initiatives.System development and align reporting systems at par with other regions. Ensure system development based on regional requirements.Coordination of CBS activities for Material related savings
