Senior Practice Director ? Hardware Engineering

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Director ? Proposal Creation to spearhead the strategy, development, and delivery of high-value proposals for our cutting-edge hardware and medical device solutions. Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will fuse deep technical acumen in analog and digital design with first-class commercial insight, guiding cross-functional experts to craft winning proposals that secure business and sustain our growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end proposal creation process for complex hardware and medical device programs, ensuring on-time, high-quality submissions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Lead and mentor a global, multidisciplinary proposal team spanning engineering, finance, legal, quality, and sales functions.
Translate client requirements into compelling technical and commercial solutions, leveraging expertise in analog, digital, and board-level design.
Drive strategic account management initiatives,



cultivating executive-level relationships to identify current opportunities and expand existing business.
Develop pricing, risk mitigation, and delivery strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant medical device regulations within all proposal documentation.
Establish and refine proposal management frameworks, best practices, and tools to increase efficiency and win rates.
Collaborate with R&D; and product management to align proposal offerings with the company?s technology roadmap.
Present proposals to internal governance boards and external stakeholders, clearly articulating value propositions and technical differentiators.
Continuously analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform proposal strategy and positioning.

Requirements

Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
