Apollo Tyres Names Denis Virelli Key Account Manager

Apollo Tyres has appointed Denis Virelli as Key Account Manager for its Car Dealer Channel and OEM business in Germany, effective immediately. The role focuses on deepening partnerships with car dealerships and vehicle manufacturers across the country. The move supports Apollo Tyres’ regional growth priorities and dealer engagement strategy in Central Europe.

Role and remit in Germany

Virelli will manage strategic accounts in the German dealer network and OEM programmes, aligning sales plans with customer needs and seasonal demand. Apollo Tyres positions the car dealership channel as a core growth lever in Germany, alongside OEM collaborations that support current-vehicle fitments and aftersales pull-through.

Head of Cluster Central Europe at Apollo Tyres Ltd. “His proven track record in sales and his deep understanding of customer needs make him a valuable addition to our team.”

Experience and background

The 43-year-old joins Apollo Tyres with experience in automotive and tyre sales, plus senior roles in car rental focusing on sales, quality management and service operations. He has also led trade- and consumer-facing service teams, giving him a broad view of dealer and end-user requirements.

Germany remains a priority market for Apollo Tyres, where OEM alignment and dealer execution influence share gains in replacement and new-car channels.

The appointment follows other recent developments by Apollo Tyres covered on Tyre News, including the Aspire 5 UHP launch aimed at luxury and EV segments, and leadership changes at group level.
