We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with robust experience building large-scale distributed systems and event-driven platforms. The role focuses on developing low-latency, high-throughput systems for real-time alerts, risk monitoring, and post-trade processing in a BFSI environment.

You will be responsible for designing and building high-performance Java-based microservices and messaging platforms capable of handling high-volume real-time trading data.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop high-performance distributed systems using Java and event-driven architecture
- Build and enhance messaging middleware and streaming platforms using Kafka
- Develop low-latency microservices for trading alerts, risk monitoring, and post-trade systems
- Implement high availability, resiliency, and fault-tolerant systems
- Design scalable solutions supporting large/bursting real-time workloads
- Work on cloud-native architecture and containerized deployments
- Improve SDLC practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps processes
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on observability, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning

Required Technical Skills Core Java & Backend
- Strong experience in Java 8 / 11 / 17
- Deep understanding of Core Java, Multithreading, Concurrency, Collections, JVM tuning
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture
- Experience building REST APIs / Web Services




- Knowledge of Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Programming

Distributed Systems & Messaging
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka / Kafka Streams
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Experience working with distributed systems, messaging middleware, and stream processing
- Knowledge of high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability

Databases
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on with MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or similar
- Knowledge of RocksDB, KDB/Q, Snowflake or similar data platforms
- Experience with query optimization and performance tuning

DevOps / Cloud / Containers
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Gradle)
- Experience working with AWS / GCP / Azure cloud platforms
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration

Observability & Monitoring
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
- Knowledge of distributed tracing tools (Tempo / Jaeger / Zipkin)

Additional Skills
- Experience with Python for automation or data processing (good to have)
- Understanding of Linux / Unix systems
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments

Preferred Experience (BFSI / Trading Domain)
