Job Summary

The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of multiple retail stores within the assigned region. The role includes preventive maintenance, breakdown resolution, vendor coordination, asset management, and ensuring all equipment, utilities, and civil infrastructure remain operational with minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of all store equipment.

- Ensure 100% PM compliance as per the maintenance calendar.

- Maintain PM records and submit reports on time.

- Identify potential failures before breakdown occurs.

Breakdown Maintenance

- Attend equipment breakdowns within the defined SLA.

- Diagnose and repair electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, and civil issues.

- Coordinate with vendors for major repairs.

- Minimize equipment downtime through quick troubleshooting.

Equipment Maintenance

Maintain the following equipment

- Air Conditioners (Split, Cassette, Ductable)

- Refrigerators &
- Freezers

- Deep Freezers &

- Cold Rooms

- Ovens &

- Kitchen Equipment

- Electrical Panels &

- DBs

- Lighting Systems

- Water Pumps

- RO &

- Water Purifiers

- Exhaust &

- Fresh Air Systems

- UPS &

- Inverters

- Plumbing Fixtures

- Civil Works (Tiles, Ceiling, Painting, Doors, Furniture)

Utility Monitoring

- Monitor electricity and water consumption.

- Report abnormal utility consumption.

- Support energy-saving initiatives.

- Check DG, UPS,



and power backup systems during visits.

Store Visits

- Visit assigned stores as per route plan.

- Conduct equipment health inspections.

- Submit visit reports with photographs.

- Follow up on pending maintenance issues.

Vendor Management

- Coordinate with AMC vendors.

- Supervise vendor work quality.

- Verify service reports and invoices.

- Ensure work completion within agreed timelines.

Safety &
- Compliance

- Ensure electrical safety compliance.

- Maintain firefighting equipment status.

- Report unsafe conditions immediately.

- Follow all company safety policies and SOPs.

Documentation

- Maintain equipment history records.

- Update breakdown and PM logs.

- Track warranty and AMC details.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.

Inventory Management

- Maintain stock of critical spare parts.

- Raise spare part requirements.

- Control maintenance material consumption.

Technical Skills Required

- Electrical troubleshooting (Single &

Educational Qualification

- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Refrigeration &
- Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

- Certification in HVAC/Refrigeration is an added advantage.

Experience

- 5–8 years of maintenance experience in:

- Retail Chains

- QSR/Food Retail

- Supermarkets

- Restaurants

- Commercial Buildings

- Experience handling 15–30 retail stores is preferred.

Travel Requirement
