To maintain machines of plant in positive running conditions including maintenance of machines

Main Responsibilities / Job Summary

1. To ensure Preventive maintenance is accomplished and documented in a

disciplined manner
1. To maintain machine history cards for all machines & equipments
2. To provide uninterrupted Utility services
3. To ensure that all safety equipments are installed and available in operating order 5. Maintain & monitor inventories of spares
4. To monitor energy cost and prepare action plan for cost saving
5. To plan for corrective/preventive actions for repeated failures
6. To educate the operators for not changing or interfering with the safety devices
7. To plan for spare parts required for critical machines
8. To maintain the documents related to IATF 16949 & QMS
9.



To learn and support implement TPM in shop floor
10. To co-operate & co-ordinate with internal customers of Maint Dept. 13. Any other task entrusted by the HOD

Skills & Knowledge Requirements(Abilities / Knowledge & Expertise in field)

Knowledge(Technical / Functional)

1. Basic Machine maintenance knowledge
2. Knowledge of life cycle of spares
3. PM procedure, Breakdown procedure, TBM, CBM, MTTR, MTBF
4. IATF /TPM / EMS-OHSAS

Skills –

1. PLC/Hydraulic/Pneumatic

2. Mechanical part composition knowledge

3. TPM

Qualifications – DME /BE Experience – DME with 06 to 08 or BE with 05 to 07 yrs of Experience in automobile industry
