DESCRIPTION

Apple Services Engineering is seeking an outstanding leader to guide the
industry’s brightest minds in building and operating large-scale distributed
systems that power Apple’s storage and database platforms. In this role, you
will take on unique challenges across big data, high-volume and low-latency
services,



and highly available transactional systems. You will lead and grow
teams responsible for developing core software, building automated tests, and
driving release and reliability engineering for systems that scale to billions
of users and petabytes of data. Your teams will leverage state-of-the-art
technologies to automate and optimize infrastructure across multiple platforms.
We are looking for a team-oriented and innovative leader who thrives under tight
deadlines, excels at solving complex problems and consistently delivers
high-quality, forward-thinking solutions. This role reports to a senior leader
in Virtualized Infrastructure and Service Delivery within Apple Services
Engineering.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

18+ years of experience leading high-velocity, cross-functional teams through
vision and influence. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize, plan, and deliver across functions to meet key milestone
