POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

Position Title: BI Manager

The primary focus of this role is to transform manufacturing data into actionable insights, while collaborating with Sales Leaders, Product Line Managers, Sales Managers, Market Managers & Finance Teams for carrying out the company’s Strategic plans in terms of Commercial Excellence.

Principal Activities (in order of importance):

Strategic Leadership

- Develop and implement BI Strategies aligned with manufacturing goals

- Lead cross-functional analytics projects to support Strategic growth

Data Management & Analysis

- Ensure Data Accuray, consistency and security across platforms

- Maintain tools, reporting & scorecards to track key metrics and value captured.

- Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver those requirements with accuracy and in a timely manner.

Reporting & Visualization

- Design and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like excel, Power BI

- Development of applications using Power Apps and Power Automate and integrate these with Power BI

- Present insights to stakeholders to support data-driven decisions

- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, BW, etc.), reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

- Analyze information resources regarding market trends, customer needs, historical data,



and internal margin/revenue targets to provide actionable recommendations on pricing, costing product and market strategies.

Team and Stakeholder Collaboration

- Manage and mentor a team of BI Analysts and developers

- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing, Finance, Product Management and other departments to identify KPIs and reporting needs

Technology & Innovation

- Manage and mentor a team of BI Analysts and developers

- Implement predictive analytics and machine learning models for forecasting and optimization

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

- Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements.

- Manage multiple priorities; both as an independent problem solver and as a team player.

- Good organizational and time management skills, robust analytical skills, and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management.

- Anticipate change and quickly prioritize accordingly.

- Be friendly, empathetic, and professional even under stressful circumstances and tight timelines.

Education & Experience

- Degree in business administration (international business) or industrial engineering or in Data Science, Computer Science, or Business Analytics

- Minimum 8 years of experience in BI or data analytics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency with SQL and Microsoft Analytics platforms such as Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate

- Prior experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP) and Business Warehouse (e.g., SAP BW)

- Technical proficiency in MS – Office suite with advanced MS-Excel
