This role is initially focused on automated testing, continuous integration (CI), and data-driven analysis of codec behaviour and performance.nnThe role will also have a focus on interoperability (IOP) testing and deeper audio-domain work, requiring an understanding of audio signal processing, codec algorithms, and subjective/objective audio quality evaluation.nnYou will work closely with audio algorithm, systems, and platform teams to ensure audio codecs are robust, scalable, standards-compliant, and productionu2011ready across wearables, mobile, XR, compute, IoT, and automotive products.nnKey Responsibilitiesnnu00b7 Develop, maintain, and execute automated test pipelines for audio codecs and audio subsystems using CI frameworks (e.g. Jenkins or equivalent industry-standard tools).nnu00b7 Design and implement functional, regression, performance, and stress test suites for audio codecs and related components.nnu00b7 Analyse large volumes of test results and logs to identify defects, regressions, performance bottlenecks, and standards compliance issues.nnu00b7 Investigate test failures through root-cause analysis, working closely with codec, DSP, and platform teams to drive resolution.nnu00b7 Create and maintain test infrastructure, scripts, and tooling to improve coverage, scalability, and efficiency of audio validation.nnu00b7 Document test methodologies, test results, and known limitations clearly and concisely.nnu00b7 Perform interoperability (IOP) testing of audio codecs across devices, platforms, and ecosystems.nnu00b7 Develop an understanding of audio signal processing fundamentals to support deeper analysis of codec behaviour and quality.nnu00b7 Assist in objective and subjective audio quality evaluation, including comparison of reference and DUT outputs.nnu00b7 Support analysis of bitstreams, packetisation, error conditions, and corner cases relevant to real-world deployments.nnu00b7 Contribute to refining test strategies aligned with standards, specifications,
