About the Organization:
Furniture and Fittings Skill Council (FFSC) is an industry -led organization dedicated to the sustainable development of the furniture and interior industry in India. With the support of 1500+ companies, associations, academia, and Skill Ambassadors, FFSC aims to build a solid ecosystem through skill development initiatives and collaborations.
Objective:
The Assistant Manager – Regional Skill Chapter will be responsible for driving engagement with industry, academia, and learners, and managing regional skill development initiatives aligned with FFSC’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities (KRA):
1. Industry Engagement
- Engage with industry players and associations in the furniture and interiors sector
- Promote FFSC initiatives and activities
- Conduct Skill Gap Studies and plan regional activities
- Identify CSR or fee -based sponsorship opportunities
2. Skilling Partner Engagement
- Identify and onboard partners for setting up Skill Academies
- Coordinate with internal teams for accreditation and affiliation processes
3. Academia & Learner Engagement
- Conduct orientation sessions and placement drives
- Organize training programs for students and working professionals
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Internal: Collaborate with FFSC leadership and teams
- External: Work with industry bodies, institutions, NGOs, and local authorities
Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
- Increase memberships and industry participation
- Strengthen stakeholder engagement
- Expand training program enrollments
- Boost apprenticeship opportunities
- Organize workshops, counseling sessions, and placement drives
- Support HR and skill development initiatives
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field
Work Experience:
- 2+ years in Interiors & Furniture industry or skill development sector
OR
- 4+ years in HR or Business Development
OR
- 5+ years as an HR Business Partner
Technical Competencies:
- Stakeholder Engagement
- MIS (Management Information Systems)
- Project Management
- MS Office proficiency
- Task Management Tools (preferred)
