SuccessFactors ECP professional to drive internal payroll operations, system enhancements, and regional rollouts. This role is responsible for leading a specialized team of 3-4 consultants to ensure the stability and optimization of our India Payroll and global ECP environment. The focus is on providing high-quality support and managing internal project lifecycles rather than third-party client implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 ECP/SAP Payroll consultants. Manage workload distribution, technical upskilling, and performance delivery for internal projects.
- Support & Enhancements:
Oversee the end-to-end support for India Payroll. Identify system gaps and lead the design and configuration of enhancements to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.
- Internal Rollouts:
Act as the technical lead for internal ECP rollouts, ensuring seamless integration between Employee Central (EC) and Payroll.
- Technical Governance:
Manage complex configuration tasks including schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules), and wage type maintenance.
- Compliance & Updates:
Ensure the system remains compliant with statutory Indian payroll requirements. Manage the implementation of SAP Notes and legal change patches (LCPs).
- Integration Management:
Oversee the Point-to-Point (PTP)
integration and ensure data consistency between EC and ECP.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with HR IT leadership and internal Finance/HR stakeholders to align payroll technology with business objectives.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
Minimum of
12+ years of hands-on experience in
SAP Payroll or
SuccessFactors ECP
.
- Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of
India Payroll processing, including taxation, provident fund, ESI, and other statutory deductions.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of
Payroll Control Center (PCC)
configuration.
- Experience with
Payroll Mashups
, Off-cycle payroll, and Retro-calculation logic.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PTP integration errors and IDOC monitoring.
- Ability to configure and modify Payroll Schemas and PCRs.
- Leadership:
Proven experience leading a small technical team or acting as a track lead in a large-scale setting.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience managing payroll in a post-merger or corporate integration environment.
- Certification in SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
