Position Summary
We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for assessing and providing appropriate speech, language, communication, and related therapeutic interventions based on individual patient needs.
The role provides an opportunity to work in a hospital workplace and collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Hearing (BASLP / MASLP) from a recognized institution.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Candidates with prior clinical/hospital experience will be preferred.
Valid professional registration/certification, wherever applicable.
Key Responsibilities1. Assessment
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and related clinical assessments.
Identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing-related difficulties as applicable.
Select and administer appropriate assessment tools based on patient requirements.
Document assessment findings accurately.
- Therapy & Intervention
Develop individualized therapy goals and intervention plans.
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as clinically appropriate.
Provide speech, language, communication, and related therapeutic interventions.
Monitor patient response and modify therapy plans based on progress.
- Documentation
Maintain accurate patient records and therapy documentation.
Prepare assessment reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries as required.
Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation.
- Patient & Caregiver Support
Provide appropriate counselling and psychoeducation to patients and caregivers.
Explain therapy goals, treatment plans, and home-based activities.
Encourage caregiver participation in the rehabilitation process.

Multidisciplinary
Coordination
Coordinate with psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
Communicate relevant clinical observations and patient progress to the treating team.
6.
Professional
Responsibilities
Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and ethical standards.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Maintain professional conduct and appropriate clinical boundaries.
Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, and other hospital activities as required.
