Technical Specification Preparation: Defining exact operating parameters, material of construction (MOC), codes/standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO), and performance guarantees.
Offer Vetting & Technical Comparative Statements (TCS): Evaluating technical bids from various vendors against the project design criteria to ensure apples-to-apples comparison and eliminate non-compliant options.
Drawing & QAP Approval: Reviewing general arrangement (GA) drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs;), and Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) to ensure compliance with project standards before manufacturing begins.
Inspection Report Review & Physical Inspection: Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
and physical inspections at vendor shops based on the approved Quality Control Plan (QCP).
Site Installation Supervision: Ensuring mechanical alignment, foundation checking, safety compliance, and proper erection during installation.
