Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Speech and Swallow Therapist role based in Bengaluru. The therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals with neurological conditions such as stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, and Parkinson’s disease. Daily responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations,
developing individualized therapy plans, delivering evidence-based speech and dysphagia interventions, and monitoring progress. The role involves close collaboration with neurologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care, participate in case discussions, and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning. The therapist will also educate patients, caregivers, and families on communication and swallowing strategies, safety measures, and home-based exercises, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and upholding ethical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Robust foundation in Speech Therapy with practical experience in neurological rehabilitation.
Ability to assess and treat speech and communication disorders, including articulation and fluency issues.
Skills in managing dysphagia, including evaluation of swallowing functi
