Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing:
Plan structural design and BIM deliverables for industrial, manufacturing, automotive, commercial, and institutional projects while coordinating with global project teams.
Plan, develop, and oversee the preparation of complex 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for steel and reinforced concrete structures in accordance with project requirements, BIM execution plans, LOD standards, and construction documentation practices.
Review engineering calculations, specifications, sketches, field information, and multidisciplinary inputs to ensure accurate, complete, and coordinated design deliverables.
Plan model and drawing coordination efforts, performing clash detection, constructability reviews, dimension verification, and resolution of interdisciplinary design conflicts.
