Purpose of the role
The Valuations and Analytics Group in Product Control is a global team responsible for all aspects of the calculation of Fair Value for traded instruments in Global Banking & Markets and additionally undertakes oversight and support for fair value calculations across the rest of HSBC Group. Product Control (PC)



Analytics team with representation in London, Kraków, Paris and Bangalore. Product Control (PC) Analytics is a centralized specialist quantitative team dedicated to implementation and refinement of fair value adjustment methodologies, development and support of quantitative tools to enhance the control framework for Product Control, Market Risk Management and the business, ensuring methodologies are compliant with new regulations. The candidate will be joining a team of experienced quantitative analytics professionals with deep subject matter expertise on derivative valuation and finance.
In this role, you will:
Build and maintain automated solutions to improve controls and analytical processes (Python/SQL/VBA). Develop services within Product Control strategic infrastructure. Support the proper and correct delivery of standardised data to teams across Product Control.
