About The Role
We are looking for a Manager – Controllership to lead and manage financial reporting, accounting, and audit-related activities. The ideal candidate is a qualified CA with experience in Financial Reporting and Accounting, preferably from a Fintech organization or a Big 4 firm, with strong SAP and advanced Excel skills.
What you'll own:
Oversee end-to-end preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP as applicable).
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with TDS and GST regulations, including return filings, reconciliations, and liaison with tax authorities/consultants.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy of books of accounts.
Drive the use of SAP for financial reporting, reconciliations, and process automation/optimization.
Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits; coordinate with external auditors and ensure closure of audit observations.
Establish and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs across the finance function.
Review and finalize balance sheets, P&L; statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST law, etc.).
Prepare MIS reports, budgets, variance analysis, and present financial insights to senior leadership.
