Liaising with GST Department to ensure speedy approvals and issue of authorization at all times.
Interacting with the Advocates and Consultants for timely filing of Appeals and reply to Show-cause Notice.
Expediting the refund claim in time bound manner.
Resolution of tax issues with cross functional team.
Proper checks and review of GST transactions to avoid risk of non-compliance.
Prompt response on query raised by the GST department.
Budgetary Controls
Obtaining Refund of Coal Cess on Exports.
Handling Legal disputes with GST authorities.
Export on payment of tax and speedy disposal of refund claim.
Prompt availment and utilization of ITC.
Compliance




Ensuring effective statutory compliance of:
GST Statute, Rules, provisions and notifications.
Excise & Service Rules and provisions to the extent pending litigations and Audits.
Minimizing litigation by strict adherence to the statutes.
Ensuring compliance with respect to the Integrated Management System, Health- Safety-Workplace norms and security guidelines.
Keep a breast with latest change in GST Law and assess its impact on business, and implement the same.
Customer-centricity
Reporting status of GST compliance as well as progress on litigation to the DH.
Reporting monthly activity to the Corporate Taxation Cell.
Periodically reporting contingent liability report/ CGR and progress made there on.
Various information provided to GST Authority on need base.
Stock report / MIS and other tax details shared across various department of the unit.
