About The Role
As a Data Architect at Hexanix One, you will be the technical leader for enterprise data platform initiatives. You'll work directly with C-level executives and technical teams to design comprehensive data strategies that align with business objectives. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to drive successful data transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end data architecture for enterprise clients
Define data strategy, governance, and security frameworks
Lead technical discussions and architectural reviews
Evaluate and recommend data technologies and platforms
Mentor engineering teams on best practices
Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams
Conduct architecture assessments and gap analysis
Drive data modernization and cloud migration initiatives
Required Qualifications
8+ years of data engineering/architecture experience
Deep expertise in cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or Databricks
Solid understanding of data modeling and governance
Proven track record of delivering large-scale data projects
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Experience in client-facing or consulting roles
Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field
Nice to Have
Cloud architecture certifications
Experience with data mesh and domain-driven design
Background in consulting or client-facing roles
Public speaking or thought leadership experience
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF)
