The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and
maintaining daily supply chain operations across one or more functional areas,
including materials planning, production planning, inventory management,
logistics, demand management, customer service, and order fulfillment. The role
ensures a reliable flow of materials and products to meet customer and business
requirements while optimizing inventory, improving operational efficiency, and
mitigating supply chain risks. The Supply Chain Planner collaborates with
cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives and
leverage planning systems to enable effective end-to-end supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute daily supply chain planning activities across materials, production,
inventory, logistics, demand planning, and order fulfillment.
* Develop and maintain planning system strategies that improve planning signals
and overall supply chain performance.
* Monitor, maintain, and optimize planning parameters within enterprise
planning systems.
* Analyze supply chain data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify
performance gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
* Identify potential supply chain risks, shortages, or disruptions and develop
mitigation plans to minimize business impact.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement short-term
tactical improvements and support long-term planning objectives.
* Utilize planning systems to drive consistent and accurate planning signals
across the end-to-end supply chain.
* Support Master Supply Scheduling activities by aligning procurement,
production, and replenishment plans with manufacturing capacity and customer
demand.
* Manage engineering changes, part supersessions, recent part introductions, and
obsolescence activities while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
