Design & Documentation

* Prepare and develop ELV/ICT design drawings including schematic diagrams,
riser diagrams, system block diagrams, floor plans, and equipment room
layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM).
* Produce design basis reports, concept narratives, and technical
specifications in accordance with project requirements and applicable UAE/GCC
authority standards .
* Support the preparation of detailed design packages, design calculations, and
equipment schedules across the following systems:
* Structured Cabling & Data Networks (ICT/IDF/MDF rooms, LAN, WAN, fibre
backbone)
* CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
* Access Control & Intrusion Detection Systems
* Public Address & Voice Evacuation (PAVA) Systems
* Building Management System (BMS) integration – ELV interface coordination
* Audio Visual (AV) Systems
* Nurse Call & Healthcare Communication Systems (where applicable)
* Car Park Guidance & Management Systems (CPMS)
* Master Antenna Television (MATV/IPTV) Systems
* Wayfinding, Digital Signage & Intercom Systems

* Coordination & Technical Support





* Coordinate ELV/ICT systems with other MEP disciplines (Mechanical,
Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) and with the architectural and
structural teams to ensure clash-free, code-compliant designs.
* Participate in design review sessions and respond to technical queries from
project managers, clients, and other disciplines.
* Support BIM coordination and contribute to federated model reviews as
required by the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
* Assist in the preparation of authority submission packages for relevant UAE
regulatory bodies and respond to technical comments raised during approvals.

* Project & Quality Management

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation in accordance with
Stantec’s quality standards
* Meet agreed deliverable deadlines and communicate proactively on progress,
risks, or technical issues to the lead engineer or project manager.
* Participate in internal design
