Role Description The Tekla Modeler is responsible for creating accurate 3D models and detailed drawings of pre-engineered steel buildings and material handling structures using Tekla Structures software. Day-to-day activities include interpreting engineering and architectural drawings, modeling steel components and connections, generating general arrangement and shop drawings, and preparing bills of materials. The role involves close coordination with design engineers, project managers,
and fabrication teams to ensure models meet technical standards, project timelines, and client requirements. The Tekla Modeler will also perform regular checks for clashes and errors, update models based on design revisions, and maintain organized project documentation. This is a full time, on-site role based in Ballari.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Tekla Structures or similar structural modeling software, with experience in steel structures and connection detailing.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering, architectural, and fabrication drawings for pre-engineered buildings and material handling systems.
Knowledge of relevant steel design and detailing standards, tolerances, and fabrication practices.
Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills, including checking models for clashes, alignment, and completeness.
