Role Description We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to take complete ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and accreditation activities for our certification body and laboratory operations.

Eligibility Criteria

- Ph.D. in Chemistry with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, OR
- M.Sc. in Chemistry with 8–10 years of relevant experience
- Only candidates with a Chemistry background will be considered.

Must have working knowledge of:

Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete ownership of QMS establishment and accreditation of the certification body as per NOP/NPOP.
- Ensure compliance with NABCB, EIC, APEDA, FSSAI, and other regulatory bodies.
- Review accrediting body-specific requirements and standards used for inspection and certification of organic process certification.
- Review and document analytical activities to ensure accreditation requirements are met with complete data traceability.
- Conduct gap analysis, risk assessment, and communicate findings to senior management through Management Review Meetings (MRMs).
- Prepare and execute the annual Proficiency Testing (PT), Internal Quality Control (IQC), and Inter-Laboratory Comparison (ILC) plans.
- Plan and conduct internal audits, MRMs, and periodic audits of laboratory notebooks and instrument logbooks.
- Prepare and execute training schedules for new and existing laboratory personnel on QMS, confidentiality, and impartiality.




- Manage scope additions for current testing requirements and complete IQ/OQ/PQ documentation for new instruments.
- Ensure all SOPs and STPs are updated in line with current national and international guidelines.
- Maintain accurate sample records, worksheets, QA records, and laboratory documentation.
- Ensure accurate transcription of laboratory data into the laboratory database.
- Review analytical method validation protocols and validation reports.
- Register and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Raise Corrective Action Reports (CARs) on the day of occurrence and perform risk analysis for identified gaps and failures.
- Facilitate continuous improvement to eliminate variation and achieve zero errors.
- Prepare and implement internal and external training plans for laboratory personnel.
- Provide compliance oversight for all stages of manufacturing, review batch records, and analytical release testing data to ensure cGMP compliance.
- Oversee implementation of laboratory programs, food safety, and laboratory quality procedures.
- Raise Out of Specification (OOS) results and Non-Conformances where applicable, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Quarantine analysed samples as per company procedures and notify the Safety Manager/HOD of process deviations.
- Maintain updated records of equipment, CRM, AMC, CMC, and other critical laboratory elements.
- Identify improvement opportunities based on statistical process trends in GMO and analytical parameters.
