Role & responsibilities

- Assess students with special educational needs and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

- Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on students' learning needs.

- Adapt lesson plans, teaching methods, and learning materials to support diverse learners.

- Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement inclusive teaching practices.

- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of assessments and interventions.

- Conduct remedial sessions to improve academic, behavioral, and social skills.

- Work closely with parents, counselors, therapists, and school staff to ensure holistic student development.

- Support students with learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, and other special needs.

- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and appropriate intervention strategies.

- Ensure compliance with school policies and inclusive education guidelines.





Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (B.Ed.

Education/M.Ed.

Education) or equivalent qualification recognized by RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India).

- Valid RCI Registration is preferred.

- 25 years of experience as a Special Educator in a school setting.

- Solid knowledge of IEP development, assessment tools, and inclusive education practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.

- Patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with diverse learning needs.

- Proficient in classroom management, documentation, and progress reporting.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office/Google Workspace
