What is this role all about?
We are looking for a Space & Experiential Designer who can transform brand ideas into memorable physical experiences.
The role involves designing spaces and installations across retail,
shop-in-shop formats, exhibitions, expos, pop-ups, events and brand activations. The ideal candidate should understand how people interact with a space and be able to create environments that are visually impactful, functional and immersive.
This is not just a retail fixture design role. We are looking for someone who can think conceptually, build strong spatial narratives and translate a brand’s identity into meaningful real-world experiences.
Must have qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in experiential design, spatial design, exhibition design, retail design or environmental design, with a strong portfolio of executed physical spaces.
- Proven experience designing expos, exhibitions, pop-ups, brand activations and immersive retail environments, with a clear understanding of customer journey, interaction and storytelling through space.
- Hands-on experience creating Shop-in-Shop (SIS) concepts, Free-Standing Units (FSUs), kiosks, product displays, standees, podiums and branded installations.
- Solid ability to take a project from concept to execution, including layouts, zoning, moodboards, 3D visualisations, renders, technical drawings and production detailing.
- Good understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, lighting, finishes, signage and structural feasibility.
- Proficiency in SketchUp,
AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite, along with at least one rendering tool such as Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion or Blender.
- Must be comfortable with site visits, measurements, vendor coordination and on-ground installation supervision.
- Must be located in or within commutable distance of Gurugram, Haryana.
What will you do?
-Conceptualise and design experiential spaces, exhibitions, expos, pop-ups and brand activations.
-Design immersive brand environments that encourage interaction and create memorable customer experiences.
-Develop Shop-in-Shop (SIS) concepts and scalable retail design systems.
-Design Free-Standing Units (FSUs), kiosks, product displays, standees,
podiums and branded installations.
-Translate campaign ideas and brand identities into spatial concepts and physical experiences.
-Develop customer journeys, spatial layouts, zoning plans and product-placement strategies.
-Create moodboards, concept decks, sketches, 3D visualisations, renders and technical drawings.
-Work with lighting, materials, finishes, graphics, signage and interactive elements to enhance the experience.
-Adapt design concepts across different venues, store formats and spatial constraints.
-Coordinate closely with vendors, fabricators, contractors and internal teams from concept to installation.
-Conduct site visits, take measurements and supervise on-ground execution.
-Review prototypes, material samples and final installations to ensure design quality and consistency.
-Manage multiple projects while maintaining timelines, budgets and brand standards.
