Role Description The Solar Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in South Delhi, responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems. Day-to-day tasks include mounting panels and related equipment, assisting with wiring and configuration, performing routine inspections, and diagnosing and resolving technical issues in installed systems. The role involves conducting system performance checks, supporting preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.

Technician will collaborate with engineers and project teams, maintain accurate service records, and provide basic system operation guidance to customers when needed.

Qualifications

Solid understanding of solar systems and solar power technologies, with the ability to work on rooftop and ground-mounted installations.

Knowledge of the solar industry and power generation concepts, including grid-connected and off-grid systems.

Solid troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical and electrical issues in solar installations.

Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, with familiarity in using hand tools, measurement devices, and safety equipment.

Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions, following all occupational health and safety guidelines.

Relevant technical diploma, certification, or vocational training in electrical, renewable energy, or a related field preferred.

Prior experience in solar installation or maintenance is an advantage, but motivated early-career technicians are also encouraged to apply.

Effective communication skills, reliability, and a collaborative approach to working with field and project teams.
