As an electrical engineer, you will carry out the design and development of
electrical systems
crucial to the SMR-300. Your role will encompass defining approaches to deliver
the SMR-300
design, ensuring adherence to safety standards, supporting the development of
the safety case, and
fostering a collaborative environment conducive to innovation.
Responsibilities
• Support development of nuclear safety functional requirements for SMR
electrical systems.
• Facilitate the development of engineering requirements.
• Lead authorship for SMR electrical design documents.




• Support interactions with regulators to aid understanding of the electrical
system design.
• Ensure that required codes and standards are met.
• Participate in design change management activities and provide design
solutions through
critical thinking, research, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and
suppliers.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and ensure compliance
with regulatory standards.
• Prepare design deliverables, presentations, and effectively communicate
progress in
stakeholder meetings.
• Actively engage in project-driven engineering teams, providing leadership and
expertise in
design development.
• Identify and implement improvements to working processes and procedures.
• Manage tasks autonomously while balancing competing priorities.
