Agentic AI for Silicon Development

VeriFast is helping lead the transition toward Agentic AI-powered silicon development .

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineering Lead, Principal Software Architect, or Engineering Manager with 10–15+ years of experience developing complex, production-grade software platforms.

This individual will provide the technical leadership needed to architect and develop VeriFast’s next generation of Agentic AI workflows for semiconductor design, verification, debug, and engineering productivity.

The successful candidate will know how to build software today that is prepared for tomorrow.

They must understand how to establish a scalable software foundation from the beginning—one that can accommodate rapid increases in users, customers, workloads, data, integrations, AI agents, engineering tools, and product functionality without requiring the platform to be fundamentally rebuilt as VeriFast grows.

The ideal candidate has worked on large-scale systems and understands how to build software today that can support radically greater demand tomorrow. They must know how to establish scalable infrastructure, modular architecture, robust engineering practices, and appropriate system boundaries from the beginning—without unnecessarily overengineering an early-stage product.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture and development of VeriFast’s Agentic AI software platform.
- Design scalable infrastructure capable of supporting significant growth in users, customers, workloads, data, integrations, and product functionality.




- Guide the complete software development lifecycle from architecture through production deployment and ongoing evolution.
- Build modular and extensible systems that can support additional AI agents and silicon development workflows.
- Identify scalability, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability risks before they become critical.
- Establish engineering standards for design, coding, testing, documentation, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and release management.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to VeriFast’s AI and software engineering teams.
- Remain hands-on in architecture, design reviews, coding, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Required Qualifications

- BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10–15+ years of professional software development experience.
- Extensive experience developing complex software through the complete product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience architecting platforms that successfully scaled into large production environments.
- Strong knowledge of scalable software infrastructure, distributed systems, APIs, databases, system integration, performance, security, and reliability.
- Proven ability to make foundational architectural decisions that support long-term commercial growth.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in Python, C++, Java, Go, or comparable languages.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring highly capable software engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing AI applications, autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, or LLM-based platforms.
- Experience with agent orchestration, RAG, vector databases, knowledge graphs, AI evaluation, and persistent memory.
- Experience developing secure enterprise or on-premises software.
