Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Red Hat Directory Services (RHDS) Engineer/Developer to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise directory service solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LDAP technologies, Red Hat Directory Server administration, identity management, authentication services, and directory integrations across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Red Hat Directory Server (RHDS) environments.
- Design and implement LDAP directory structures, schemas, and replication topologies.
- Develop and support integrations between RHDS and enterprise applications.
- Configure and manage authentication and authorization services using LDAP.




- Perform directory migrations, upgrades, and patch management activities.
- Monitor directory performance and implement tuning strategies to improve availability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot directory service issues, replication failures, access problems, and application connectivity issues.
- Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Ansible for provisioning and administration tasks.
- Implement security controls, access policies, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and DevOps teams to support business requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and architecture diagrams.

Required Skills

- Strong experience with Red Hat Directory Server (RHDS) administration and support.
- Deep understanding of LDAP, directory schemas, indexing, and replication concepts.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
- Experience in LDAP integration with enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting, Python, or Ansible automation.
- Knowledge of SSL/TLS certificate management and LDAP security.
- Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Familiarity with high-availability and disaster recovery configurations.
