The app supports safe and informed travel through live location sharing, check-ins, and real-time weather and road alerts. Travelers are matched with verified local hosts to avoid tourist traps and discover authentic experiences. WorldOh aims to make travel social, spontaneous, and safe, with an upcoming launch on iOS and Android.

Role Description: This is a Full Stack Developer Intern role with a solid focus on React Native mobile app development. The primary responsibility will be building and improving WorldOh’s mobile application, while also contributing to frontend and backend development when required.

The intern will work closely with the product, design, and engineering teams to develop new features, improve user experience, and solve real-world product challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing React Native features, integrating APIs, working with databases, debugging issues, optimizing application performance,



and contributing to the overall product development process. This role provides hands-on experience in building a real-world travel technology product in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

1. Good proficiency in React Native and mobile application development.
2. Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend development practices.
3. Experience with React is preferred.
4. Knowledge of Go (Golang) is good to have but not mandatory.
5. Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, Git, and software development workflows.
6. Understanding of mobile app performance optimization, debugging, and best coding practices.
7. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a startup environment.
9. Candidates with personal projects, GitHub contributions, or published mobile applications will be preferred.
10. Interest in travel technology and building products that improve social connection, safety, and discovery for travelers.
