About The Role We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester with domain expertise in Health Claims processing and hands-on experience with the TCS BaNCS platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the health insurance claim workflows, ensuring that all processes adhere to business requirements, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards. This role involves working closely with business analysts, domain experts, and development teams to identify, document, and track defects, as well as supporting various testing activities such as functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our health claims processing system, contributing to the overall efficiency and compliance of our insurance solutions.

Qualifications The preferred candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, with relevant experience in the insurance domain, particularly in health claims processing.



Prior experience working on TCS BaNCS or similar insurance platforms is essential. Candidates should have a solid understanding of insurance claim workflows, policy administration, and the claim lifecycle.

Basic SQL knowledge is advantageous for data validation and troubleshooting. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong documentation abilities are required to effectively perform testing and report findings. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are also important.

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive end-to-end testing of health insurance claims modules within the TCS BaNCS platform to ensure seamless claim adjudication, settlement, policy linkage, and payment workflows. Create detailed test cases and scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications, ensuring coverage of all possible scenarios. Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing activities to validate system performance and compliance.

Log, track, and verify defects in collaboration with development teams, ensuring timely resolution and retesting. Ensure that all testing activities adhere to regulatory guidelines, internal quality standards, and best practices. Work closely with business analysts and domain experts to understand detailed requirements and translate them into effective test cases.





Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, defect reports, and test results for audit and review purposes. Participate in defect triage meetings and provide insights for continuous improvement of testing processes. Assist in preparing test data and environment setups necessary for comprehensive testing activities.

Support UAT activities by coordinating with business users, gathering feedback, and ensuring the system meets user expectations.
