We are seeking a hands-on Software Development Team Lead – Full Stack to lead the architecture and development of an integrated ecosystem of consumer mobile applications, family health web platforms, and clinic-facing applications.
This is an opportunity to shape the technical foundation of an early-stage product, lead a growing engineering team, and contribute to technology intended for deployment across India and the United States. The role offers significant ownership, direct influence on product decisions, and meaningful compensation and growth potential as the company scales.
About the Role You will lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of our web and mobile health management platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong software architecture skills with hands-on development experience and the ability to mentor and guide a multidisciplinary engineering team.
You will work closely with product, UI/UX, AI/ML, clinical, quality, and business teams to translate product requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable software.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the architecture across Flutter mobile applications, Flutter web applications, Firebase services, cloud functions, APIs, and third-party integrations
- Lead the development of core modules such as:
- User authentication and onboarding
- Family and dependent profile management
- Health information collection and medical document storage
- Appointments, medications, reminders, and notifications

- Consent, permissions, sharing, and role-based access
- Clinic and patient communication workflows
- Design reusable components and shared services across mobile and web products
- Remain actively involved in coding, prototyping, troubleshooting, and resolving critical technical issues
- Lead developers through sprint planning, task decomposition, code reviews, design reviews, and technical mentoring
- Establish engineering standards for clean architecture,
modularity, testing, documentation, security, and release readiness
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, development environments, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment workflows
- Design secure systems for sensitive personal and health information, including encryption, validation, audit logging, access control, and session management
- Integrate AI-enabled features, analytics, wearable data, payment services, and external healthcare systems
- Collaborate with U.S. and India teams across multiple time zones
- Support technical hiring, candidate evaluation, onboarding, and engineering process development
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of professional software development experience
- At least 1 year of experience as a Team Lead, Technical Lead, Software Architect, or Principal Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience building production applications using Flutter and Dart
- Experience delivering both mobile and web applications
- Strong experience with Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Firebase security rules
- Backend development experience using Firebase, Node.js, Python, Java, or a comparable technology
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous workflows, data modeling, application architecture, and cloud-based system design
- Experience with state-management approaches such as BLoC, Riverpod, Provider, or equivalent
- Experience implementing authentication, role-based access control, secure session management, and permission-based data sharing
- Working knowledge of Git, branching strategies, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and application release processes
- Ability to translate business and product requirements into phased technical plans
- Strong communication, mentoring, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in health technology, women’s health, family health, wellness, medical devices, or another data-sensitive industry
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Run, BigQuery, or related services
- Familiarity with generative AI, OpenAI or Gemini APIs,

- Experience leading distributed engineering teams in an early-stage startup
- Strong product judgment and the ability to balance delivery speed, usability, security, and long-term maintainability
What Success Looks Like Within this role, you will:
- Establish a clear and scalable technical roadmap
- Deliver consistent architecture across mobile, web, and backend systems
- Improve engineering quality, predictability, and development speed
- Build secure and maintainable foundations for sensitive health information
- Mentor developers and strengthen the overall engineering team
- Help move the product from prototype and pilot stages toward production-scale deployment
What We Are Looking For We are looking for a builder who can combine:
- Solid system design and architecture thinking
- Hands-on full-stack development
- Team leadership and mentoring
- Product and user understanding
- Security and privacy awareness
- Ownership and disciplined execution
