Job summaryWe are seeking a versatile and proactive Software Development Tender Specialist & Platform Bidder to drive our business pipeline. In this role, you will lead our software development bidding process across both traditional enterprise RFPs and digital freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Fiverr . You will collaborate with software architects and sales teams to craft tailored, highly competitive proposals that win contemporary tech projects.

Key responsibilities

Proposal and bid management

- RFP analysis : Review complex software development tenders, RFQs, and government procurement specs to isolate mandatory technical criteria.
- Document compilation : Write, structure, and edit high-quality technical proposals, executive summaries, and case studies.
- Compliance tracking : Establish internal deadline compliance matrices to guarantee error-free, timely submissions.

Digital platform bidding
- Profile optimization : Maintain and enhance company profiles, agency accounts, and gig portfolios across Upwork, Freelancer, and Fiverr .
- Daily bid execution : Scout, screen, and apply daily to relevant, high-margin software development projects on freelance networks.
- Client conversion : Handle initial client communication, answer follow-up queries, and book technical discovery calls with prospects.

Cross-functional collaboration
- Solution alignment : Partner with Software Architects to translate agile development frameworks (e.g., Scrum) and tech stacks into clear text.
- Cost estimation :



Coordinate with financial and product engineering teams to draft statements of work (SOW) and cost breakdowns.
- Clarification handling : Coordinate responses to customer queries during pre-submission and post-submission interview rounds.

Market intelligence and governance
- Portal monitoring : Monitor procurement platforms to discover fresh enterprise software opportunities.
- Risk assessment : Evaluate Software-as-a-Service ( SaaS ) agreements, cloud compliance rules, and software licensing liabilities.
- Win/Loss analysis : Review bid statistics and feedback to boost future conversion rates.

Key requirements

Experience and education

- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Proven track record : Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in IT bid management and freelance platform bidding.
- Platform expertise : Demonstrated success in securing software development contracts on Upwork (Agency/Individual), Freelancer, or Fiverr Pro .
- Domain knowledge : Deep familiarity with modern SDLC workflows , API architectures, Cloud hosting, and DevOps. [1, 2, 3]
