Position Summary
The Associate Medical Director role at Stem Health sits at the intersection of clinical practice and clinical leadership a role for a physician who is ready to contribute to something bigger than their own panel, and who wants to grow into a formal leadership identity without stepping away from the work they were trained to do.
Reporting to the Medical Director,
you will support the clinical operations of Stem Health's physician team helping to translate governance standards into day-to-day practice, providing clinical oversight and peer support to physicians and allied health providers, and serving as a trusted second voice in quality assurance, case review, and clinical protocol development. You will also maintain your own member panel, practicing comprehensive primary care alongside your leadership responsibilities.
This is the right role for a physician with 3–7 years of post-residency experience who has developed robust clinical instincts and is now ready to apply them in a leadership context helping to shape the clinical culture of a next-generation primary care model from the inside.
