Job Description – Technical Program Manager - Software
Department: Software
Reports To: VP of Engineering
Location: Pune / Bangalore
About Spiro Spiro is building the operating system for electric mobility across Africa - spanning battery swapping infrastructure, fleet operations, energy commerce, and CRM - live across nine markets (Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Morocco, Benin, Togo, and Cameroon). Backed by $200+M in funding, we're working on top-notch, cutting-edge technology to solve problems at genuine IoT, fintech, and mobility scale - real-time data pipelines, connected hardware, and platforms that run physical infrastructure, not just dashboards. We build systems designed to scale to billions of events a day and over 1 million transactions a day, and engineered for 99.999% uptime.
We're looking for exceptional engineers and leaders to join us in Pune or Bangalore to help build this platform. This isn't a "big company problems, big company headcount" environment - you'll own systems end-to-end,
with a bar for technical rigor set by experience at top product tech companies, but a working style built for a company still being built.
The Role
We need a Technical Program Manager who can hold together cross-team delivery across a genuinely complex platform - many engineering teams, nine markets, hardware and software dependencies colliding constantly, building toward systems designed to scale to billions of events a day and over 1 million transactions a day, engineered for 99.999% uptime. This isn't status-update TPM work; you need enough technical depth to spot risk in a design doc, not just a Gantt chart.
What You'll Do
Own end-to-end program management for cross-cutting initiatives (e.g., recent market launches, security frameworks, platform migrations) that touch multiple engineering teams and external partners (telecom carriers, hardware vendors, regulators).
Translate FY OKRs into sequenced, dependency-aware execution plans across our CRM, Energy C
