Overview / Role Summary
This role is responsible for supporting Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) activities for space optical payloads, including optical alignment, calibration,



performance verification, and preparation of technical documentation, in close collaboration with senior engineers.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a driven AIT Engineer – Optical Payloads to support Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) operations at our Ahmedabad facility. Working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a crucial role in bringing complex space-borne optical systems from individual components to fully integrated, launch-ready payloads.

In this role, you will own optical alignment tasks, assist with critical performance measurements (MTF, EFL, distortion), and support environmental testing (Thermal Vacuum, Vibration, Shock). Your success will be measured by test execution accuracy, payload calibration reliability, strict adherence to cleanroom standards, and the quality of integration documentation generated for mission assurance.
