Role Description The Software Developer Backend will design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs that power SaathApp’s core platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing server-side logic, integrating databases and third-party services, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliability and security of backend systems.

The role involves collaborating with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, as well as reviewing code and contributing to technical documentation. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Tharthari,



where regular on-site collaboration is expected, with some flexibility for work from home.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including API design, database integration, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using at least one modern server-side language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Node.js, Go).
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in production code.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control systems (e.g., Git), and RESTful or GraphQL API development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or deployment environments, basic security best practices, and monitoring/logging tools.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team setting, communicate clearly, and manage tasks in an agile or iterative development process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
