Job Summary

Shriram General Insurance is seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize social media marketing initiatives. The role involves developing engaging content, managing social media campaigns, analyzing performance, and strengthening the company's digital presence across relevant platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business and marketing objectives.

Plan and manage content calendars across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.

Create and coordinate engaging content including posts, reels, stories, videos, creatives, and campaign communication.

Manage paid social media campaigns to drive reach, engagement, leads, and conversions.

Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Track and analyze campaign performance using relevant social media analytics and reporting tools.

Optimize campaigns based on engagement, reach, lead generation, conversion, and other performance metrics.

Collaborate with content, design, SEO, sales, and business teams to execute integrated digital campaigns.

Monitor comments, messages, and customer interactions and ensure timely and professional responses.





Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across social media channels.

Prepare regular performance reports and provide actionable recommendations for improving social media effectiveness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong understanding of social media marketing strategies and digital customer engagement.

Hands-on knowledge of major social media platforms and their advertising capabilities.

Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.

Strong content planning, copywriting, and communication skills.

Understanding of paid social advertising, audience targeting, and campaign optimization.

Ability to analyze social media metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the insurance, BFSI, financial services, or other regulated industries.

Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and YouTube advertising.

Knowledge of influencer marketing and social media collaborations.

Basic understanding of SEO, performance marketing, and lead generation.

Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools.

Understanding of social media crisis management and online reputation management.
