Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode, responsible for managing and growing MGI’s presence across major social media platforms. This role includes planning and executing social media campaigns, creating and publishing engaging content, and optimizing posts for reach, engagement, and lead generation.

The Social Media

Manager will monitor performance analytics, adjust strategies based on data, and ensure brand consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging. Daily tasks involve collaborating with academic and marketing teams, responding to inquiries and comments, and supporting promotions for programs, events,



and institutional initiatives. The role also requires staying updated on social media trends and best practices within the education and aviation sectors.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills, with experience managing campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Candidates should possess solid Content Strategy and Writing skills to plan editorial calendars, craft compelling posts, and adapt content for different audiences and channels.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder coordination, and professional online interaction.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with social media analytics tools, basic design skills (e.g., Canva or similar), and the ability to interpret performance metrics.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, and prior experience in social media management for educational or training institutions are beneficial.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in Kozhikode in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
