Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Social Media Content Creator.

The Social Media Content

Creator will develop, plan, and publish engaging content across social platforms to promote EventWit’s services, events, and brand initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include creating social media posts (copy, graphics, short-form video), scheduling content, and monitoring engagement and performance metrics. The role involves collaborating with event planners, marketing team members, and designers to ensure content aligns with event themes, campaign objectives, and brand guidelines.

Creator will also research industry trends, propose current content ideas, and adapt content for multiple platforms to support audience growth and engagement.

Qualifications

Strong social media content creation skills, including writing compelling captions, crafting post concepts, and developing platform-specific content (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, TikTok).

Experience with visual and multimedia content tools, such as basic graphic design, short-form video editing, and use of design or editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools, mobile editing apps).

Understanding of social media strategy and marketing, including content calendars, audience targeting, and campaign support for event promotion and brand awareness.

Ability to analyze social media metrics, interpret insights, and refine content based on performance data and audience feedback.

Excellent written communication skills in en_US, with attention to detail, grammar, tone, and brand consistency.

Familiarity with events, experiential marketing, or brand activations; interest in AI-powered content or digital tools is a plus.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple content requests in a remote, contract setting.

Previous experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation; a portfolio or examples of past work are highly beneficial.
