Role: Snowflake App Database Administrator (DBA)

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid/Onsite) Experience: 3–8 Years

What You’ll Do

* Manage and administer Snowflake environments for high-performance applications

- Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries for performance and scalability
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
- Handle data security, access control, and governance in Snowflake
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and application teams
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and cost optimization of Snowflake workloads
- Work on query optimization, warehouse sizing, and performance tuning

What We’re Looking For





* Hands-on experience in Snowflake Database Administration (Application DBA role)

- Strong expertise in SQL development, query tuning, and performance optimization
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms
- Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Snowflake workloads
- Familiarity with roles, permissions, and data security in Snowflake
- Exposure to ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Bonus Points

* Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP

- Knowledge of data modeling and optimization techniques
- Exposure to tools like Airflow, dbt, or similar
