Chiran Tea brings authentic Japanese tea such as Matcha, Hojicha, Sencha, Gyokuro, Genmaicha, and instant tea lattes, from Kagoshima's estates to India, backed by Hamada Global Trading's tea heritage since 1975.
We're hiring a Business Development Executive to drive retail expansion across supermarkets, gourmet stores, cafés, restaurants, hotels, and distributors.

Responsibilities
Retail Expansion
• Build a pipeline of retail and B2B partners; pitch and onboard new accounts
• Grow existing accounts through better visibility, assortment, and order frequency
• Scout recent territories and recommend expansion markets
• Coordinate with internal sales team on fulfilment
Market & Brand Development
• Support product launches, campaigns, and market initiatives
• Run market visits to track consumer behavior, competition, and pricing
• Represent Chiran Tea at exhibitions, tastings, and retail activations
• Build partnerships with cafés, chefs, and complementary lifestyle brands
Sales Execution & Team Coordination
• Own monthly/quarterly sales and account-development targets




• Negotiate listings, commercials, and promotional terms
• Track leads, samples, orders, and payments; report performance to leadership
• Use and expand the company's existing market network
• Contribute market insights to sales planning

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years in FMCG, F&B;, retail, hospitality, or lifestyle/consumer goods
• Strong at relationship-building, negotiation, and follow-through
• Confident presenting to retailers, distributors, and senior stakeholders
• Comfortable with fieldwork and local/occasional travel
• Organized: can maintain records, pipelines, and reports
• Working knowledge of Excel, presentations, and CRM/lead-management tools
• No prior Japanese tea knowledge needed: training provided; curiosity and quick learning are what matter

• Fixed CTC: ₹ 360,000– 420,000 LPA, at par with industry standards for this experience level
• Variable pay: Performance-bas
