Facade Site Supervisor Roles & Responsibilities

Site Execution & Installation

- Supervise fa•ade installation activities at site.
- Ensure installation is carried out as per approved shop drawings and method statements.
- Monitor alignment, level, plumb, and positioning of fa•ade members, brackets, glass, and cladding panels.
- Coordinate fa•ade erection sequence as per site conditions.
- Verify bracket positioning and anchor fixing before fa•ade installation.
- Monitor tolerance levels with civil and structural works.

Material Inspection & Coordination

- Check incoming fa•ade materials such as aluminium profiles, glass, brackets, fasteners, sealants, and accessories.
- Ensure approved materials and finishes are used at site.
- Coordinate with store, purchase, and factory teams for material availability.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of fa•ade materials at site.
- Monitor material wastage and reconciliation.

Quality Control

- Verify installation quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Check for fouling issues, gaps, misalignment, water leakage risks, and fitment problems.
- Ensure proper sealing, fixing, and finishing of fa•ade elements.
- Check silicone/sealant application as per approved specifications.
- Conduct inspections before consultant/client review.
- Ensure protection of installed glass and aluminium materials from damage.

Drawing & Technical Coordination

- Follow approved IFC/shop drawings and coordinate site conditions accordingly.
- Identify clashes between fa•ade and structural/civil works.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects,



and structural teams for technical clarifications.
- Raise RFIs for unresolved technical/site issues.
- Ensure as-built updates are communicated to the design/shop drawing team.
- Coordinate measurement verification before fabrication and installation.

Safety Management

- Ensure protected fa•ade installation practices at height.
- Monitor usage of PPE, lifelines, scaffolding, gondola, boom lift, and lifting equipment.
- Ensure workers follow site safety procedures and permits.
- Coordinate access requirements for fa•ade installation activities.

Manpower & Subcontractor Coordination

- Manage fa•ade installers, fabricators, and subcontractors.
- Allocate daily work targets and monitor productivity.
- Ensure adequate manpower for planned activities.

Progress Monitoring

- Track daily installation progress against project schedule.
- Update project manager/client on work status and delays.
- Support planning for material delivery and installation sequence.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare daily progress reports and site updates.
- Maintain records of installed quantities and pending activities.
- Report site issues, damages, and non-conformities immediately.
- Support billing measurements and quantity verification.
- Report daily site progress, manpower status, material requirements, and site issues to the Project Coordinator.

Testing & Handover

- Coordinate mock-up installation, approvals, and water testing activities.
- Ensure snag rectification before handover.
- Monitor punch point closure.
- Support final fa•ade cleaning and project closeout activities.
