Role Description The Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at project locations and ensuring that water treatment systems are installed and operated according to design specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include supervising site work, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and technicians, monitoring progress against project timelines, and assisting with the commissioning and testing of equipment. The role involves conducting basic inspections and quality checks, maintaining site documentation and reports, and supporting troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues.

Engineer will also help ensure compliance with environmental regulations, company procedures, and client requirements while contributing to continuous improvement in site execution.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in environmental, chemical, civil, or mechanical engineering, with applied knowledge of water or wastewater treatment processes.

Experience in site supervision, installation, and commissioning of industrial or utility equipment, preferably in the water treatment or environmental sector.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs;, and equipment manuals, and to prepare clear site reports and documentation.

Familiarity with safety standards, environmental regulations, and basic quality assurance practices applicable to engineering project sites.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams, and resolving site-level issues.

Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work independently at site locations under time and resource constraints.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or related field) from an accredited institution.

Willingness to travel to project sites within or outside Pune City as required, and flexibility to work in field conditions.
