- Assist in hydro testing, flushing, and pressure testing. The Site Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of Fire Fighting piping works, supervision of self-employed site manpower, coordination with client, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and as per approved drawings and quality standards.
Role & responsibilities
Site Execution
- Supervise installation of Fire Fighting piping systems.
- Execute Hydrant, Sprinkler, Landing Valve, Hose Reel, Pump Room, and valve installation works.
Site Supervision
- Supervise technicians, fitters, welders, helpers, and subcontractors.
- Allocate daily work and monitor productivity.
- Ensure quality workmanship and timely completion.
Drawing & Layout
- Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and piping layouts.
- Mark routing for Fire Fighting pipelines.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure work complies with project specifications and quality standards.
- Enforce use of PPE and safe work practices.
Reporting
- Submit daily progress reports.
Preferred candidate profile Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
25 years in Fire Fighting System installation or industrial piping works.
