- The SIOP Analyst is responsible for supporting the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process through data analysis, demand-supply alignment, and inventory planning activities. This role ensures accurate forecasting, inventory optimization, and data-driven decision-making to support business and customer requirements.

- The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain to enable effective planning and execution.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Demand &

- Supply Planning Support

- Analyze and align sales, historical consumption, demand trends, and seasonality

- Support demand planning and supply alignment activities

- Assist in balancing demand vs supply to meet business needs

- Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability

Inventory Planning &

- Management

- Track inventory levels across locations and recommend optimization actions

- Support stock transfer planning and inventory movement

- Close collaborate with Sales &
- Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams, taking ownership of planning processes, capacity alignment, and inventory management

- Ensure alignment between production, distribution, and demand requirements.

SIOP Process Coordination

- Support monthly SIOP cycle (demand review, supply review, executive review)

- Prepare data inputs, reports, and analysis for SIOP meetings

- Highlight risks, gaps, and mitigation opportunities

Data Analysis &

- Reporting

- Create and maintain reports and dashboards (Excel / Power BI)





- Analyze KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels

- Convert data into actionable insights for stakeholders

ERP &

- Master Data Support

- Maintain and validate master data (item master, planning parameters, MRP data)

- Extract data from ERP systems (SAP required) for analysis and reporting

- Ensure data accuracy for planning activities

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency and accuracy

- Support implementation of best practices in inventory and planning processes

- Assist in automation and reporting enhancements

Experience and Education

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or other relevant field of study.

- 3-5+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or strategic planning role.

- Proven track record in demand forecasting, inventory analysis, process optimization, and master data management, and SIOP workflows.

- Familiarity with lean inventory principles and methodologies.

- Strong Analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Advanced Excel skills, BI platforms (e.g., Power BI).

- Experience in SAP - ECC ERP subject matter expertise Required.

- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products.

- Robust written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

- Ability to multitask while maintain strong attention to detail and technicalities.
