Role Description The Shopify Developer role at Dyulokha is a full time remote position focused on building and optimizing the company’s ecommerce experience. The person in this role will develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes, templates, and apps to support a curated marketplace of South Asian products.

Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing site performance, enhancing product and collection pages, and ensuring responsive, accessible design across devices.

Developer will integrate third-party tools, configure payment and shipping workflows, and collaborate with design, content,



and marketing teams to support campaigns and user experience improvements. This role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining clean and organized code, and staying current with Shopify and ecommerce best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong Shopify development skills, including theme customization, Liquid templating, and Shopify app integration.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
- Experience with ecommerce best practices, including site performance optimization, SEO implementation, and conversion-focused UI/UX.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to integrate APIs and third-party services for payments, shipping, analytics, and marketing tools.
- Experience with Product listing, product data, image upload, inventory management and seller onboarding.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail when debugging and testing across browsers and devices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
- Previous experience in marketplace or ecommerce platforms; interest in South Asian fashion, culture, or handcrafted products is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
